The Julia I. Carrington Foundation was established in 2014 by long-time Vacaville resident and prominent farmer, Julia I. Carrington, offering multiple $10,000 scholarships to undergraduate students majoring in an agricultural field. 

Qualified applicants must maintain a minimum 3.0  GPA, resided in Solano County for two or more years , and plan to, or are currently attending a University located in California that offers a Bachelor's degree in agricultural fields.

Scholarships can be applied for year round for up to 4 years, and recipients can receive yearly multiple scholarships. 

Consideration is given first to applicants where a member of their family derives their living from farming or other agricultural means.
