Scholarship Information

The Julia I. Carrington Foundation offers multiple $10,000 scholarships to undergraduate students pursuing a degree in an agricultural field. The Foundation has awarded $460,000 to date to deserving applicants. 

Scholarships are issued to local students who have resided in Solano County for a minimum of two years and are graduating, or have graduated, from a local high school in Solano County. Consideration will be given first to applicants where a member of their family derives their living from farming or other agricultural means.
 


Qualified applicants must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA and plan to attend a California University  that offers a Bachelor's degree in an agricultural field. 

Scholarships can be applied for year round for up to 4 years, and recipients can receive multiple yearly scholarships. Scholarship funds are for educational expenses, such as books, tuition, registration, fees, supplies and student housing.
